A salesman that i've known for years dropped by at my office unexpectedly and he gave me this quizzical look.
"What?" my word echoed in my mind.
"What happen to you" he blurted it out
"What did happen to me" I answered his question with a question.
"You look so thin"
I've heard this remark quite often these days. I just laughed him off.
"I'm not thin. I'm just slim" with my laughter still trailing.
"Are you sick?" he asked again denying my answer.
"I'm not sick. Do I have to be sicked to be slim?"
So the conversations went on about cholesterol and eating habits and the end results is sitting in front of him.
"I shall try that" he said it at last and as I studied his whole self I agreed with him nothing less.
To those out there who are consciously feel that you need to shed off a few kilos, dont ever try to take those slimming pills that you can easily get over the counter. You cannot reach your goal overnight. There are no shortcuts. Even if you succeed to lose some, you will regain the fat that you loose even faster. Try to eat intelligently. Avoid fried foods. Avoid food that contains a lot of fats and cholesterol. Eat rice moderately. If possible, eat brown rice instead of white. Eat a lot of fruits and veges. Avoid sugar and food that has a high sugar content. Avoid foods that bring more harms than good. Cannot? Well, I didnt say it is easy. It needs a high will power but as times pass by, you will see a new you in the mirrow.
