Instead of giving worksheets and ask the children to count objects in the picture and match it to the correct number, I gave them something more interesting to do.



I gave them an A4 size card each (please see photo) and a group of small cards written 1 to ten. They were requested to count the number of objects in each square on the big card and place the correct number card on that square. As simple as that.



The one that completed the task first is the winner. Well.. everybody wanted to win.
